custom y-pipe....help!
custom y-pipe....help! I think I am going to get a shop build a y-pipe for me. I will get the flowmaster merge, but for the rest of the y-pipe i am thinking about using my current jet hot y-pipe. it is scraped up and is not in good shape. Will this work out or not?? I would like to use as much of my current y-pipe as I can because all of the shops around here don't have mandrell benders. Has anyone ever done this???
I am wondering especially about the collector. the flowmaster has a dual 3'' in and 3.5'' out...............not what I need. Magnaflow has a 3'' in and 3'' out but I wonder if the 3'' catback piping will slip over it or will it just be the same size. Custom y-pipes may be better but they are a lot more hassel.

well im assuming the shop has a bender and if they do they can flare the end of the pipe for u in 2 seconds to fit over whatever u need. they can even flare out the muffler input and output pipes.
