We recommend the coating...it will make your headers look better, and keep heat down. Kooks just had a price increase, but if you give us a call at the number in the sig, we can hook you up with some great "too low to post" prices. I'm wondering the same thing. I have some AR long tubes on order. I'd like to coat them with Jet Hot sterling or extreme sterling, but I'm planning on having the car for a long time and I wonder if the coating will last years down the road without flaking or cracking?
