Default Next mod for a bolt on car?
Alright, I am not sure where to start. The car has LT's, aftermarket Y, GMMG, and a lid. It is an A4 with the "GU5" rear end. I noticed a little loss after putting on my new wheels. I will NOT run radials as I still have the stock rear end. I have thought about a ported throttle body, LS6 intake, gears, etc. I basically want more power from the roll on up to 100-115 mph or so. I want to stay under $500 for sure.

he aint gonna get a good TQ for under 500



go with an ls6 intake, 300 shipped and you will have money left over for a ported thorttle body 2 birds with 1 stone

what year is the car? you can get 3.73 gears, i would recommend the ported TB.

3.73 gears stock gears suck...or save for a stall..the ls6 intake is a good cheap mod as well or you could do nitrous..is the car tuned?any suspension mods ?????????

the car is dyno tuned for its current mods. i know everyone is saying a stall but i do not think i should because i will run nothing but street tires. i am mainly interested in the car pulling harder throughout the whole 2nd gear. the car is a 2000. will gears help a car like this (bolt ons with street tires)? i don't want to go more than 3.73 because this isn't strictly a drag car. the only suspension mods are sub frames that i just ordered. i dont' care how the car handles. we mainly do drags from a rolling start so traction isn't a huge deal on good pavement, even with street tires.

Since you have 3.23 stay with them.Get the ls6 intake and porte tb $300 for a intake $80 bucks for tb.

hes got 3.42's not 3.23's 3.42's are a great all around gear so stick with those.

LS6 intake + ported TB. I love my Shaner3 TB. Once you replace the rear end, then i'd get the TC.

Save for a stall, but if you need more power then a ls6+ported tb.

The FTRA kit from thunderracing.com says it give more hp. im thinking it would work going faster+more air intake=more power

I would buy a used ls6 intake manifold and then get the TB ported. This will be under $500
