Oil pressure gauge problems
Oil pressure gauge problems Well, after the install from hell doing my intake and LT's at the same time, my cars finally running. I broke the OPSU like many others have taking the intake off, but after installing a new one my gauge is stuck to the far right, even with the engine off. I double checked the connection and even plugged the old sensor back in and I still get the same thing. Is there something I'm missing here, perhaps there is a reset I'm not aware of? I plan on running at the track this year and that gauge is a necessity.
Looks like the problem is an open ground at the switch. I pulled the connector and grounded the wire and the gauge went to 0. I'm hoping I just didn't get the sensor tight enough to tear through the teflon and that is breaking the ground to the switch. There are several post like this with no answers, so I will try to post the solution when I find out.
