Default Time for an exhaust system...

Like the title says time quiet the beast down a little, she is WAAAAYYYYY too loud with her current set up, straight pipes, i dont really want true duals either. I have a vindicator cam and the trick flow 215's with about an 11.6:1 compression ratio. I prefer not to have cut outs but still weighing in my options. so what should i go with to make her quiet enough to where i dont get a ticket or **** off the neighbors too much but still sound good?

Voted for the Magnaflow. Had mine installed yesterday and must say it's louder than I thought it'd be and quiet on the road just cruising. Drone disappears below 1500 rpm but the system really opens up when you step on it. I saved some dough and went with the stock tips having 3.5" cut off the ends to help tuck the tips under the bumper. Next I'm going to have the tips pressed down into an oval shape to really get them up and increase ground clearance. Sound is so good I do not regret busting up for the quad tips or the Borla/Corsa cat-back that I had planned on getting.

I have GMMG. but Magnaflow is a great product and is not as loud as the others, but sounds nice and mean.

I'm a little confused as to how the magnaflow goes together. in their picture on the site where they have it together, the muffler has one inlet on the right side of the muffler and dual outlets on the left side with one for the right tailpipe bending back around the front of the muffler and going through the right tail pipe. so basically a single inlet/dual outlet stule muffler like you get on most truck exhaust systems, except for the 180 degree bend to get it to go out the right tailpipe. on the install instructions it looks like they have it set up like a standard f-body muffler, the inlet and right side outlet both on the right side and the left side outlet on the left side??? which way does it come?

I have to vote for the magnaflow since that is what I am getting next week. Magnaflow has a good sound and now they have some dual dual tips. Don't know if i am going to use their dual dual tips or not.......................may be using some of the corsa clones on this system. I will post some pics when I get it on

Here is my system. This was within 5 minutes of the installation and we hadn't done a final adjustment on the system. It will be level and the tips will be pressed into an oval shape. Right now the tips have 3.5" cut off of them. Hope this gives you some idea about the installation.

I have seen at least 3 threads that people have Corsa systems and something falls apart inside the muffler. Magnaflow is what I have also and I love it, i have had other catbacks and true duals and I just got the Magnaflow about 2 weeks ago and you cant beat the quality. All Mandrel Bent, stainless steel, polished tips and muffler the flow is awsome, easy to put on and for only $400 thats a hell of a system!

Dude i would go with the magnaflow. I bought mine brand new for 416 bucks with shipping. 3.5" tips all bolt on system. I even installed it on my own. Its not to hard either even including the fact that it was the first time i ever attempted it on any car. It sounds great after it breaks in a bit and it isn't even annoying when your driving. not much noise on the inside at all and when you step on it people will know. i will find the website and mail it to you.
