If you stay with stock manifolds and Y pipe the LM1 sounds great. I had it on my 99 WS.6 and switched to an ORY and left the stock manifolds and it sounded horrible. I can only imagine how bad it would have been with LT's.

I have the dual/dual tips on mine. I've read somewhere that they're more prone to drone than the single tips. Not sure if that's true, just what I remember seeing somewhere. I like the look of the dual tips on a t/a....probably not so much on a camaro.

The m6 helps you some in the drone department as well. If I could shift to avoid the annoying rpms it wouldn't be so bad.

I have the complete slp exhaust system, slp long tubes with y-pipe and no cats. I have the lm 1 it can get a little raspy sometimes but, I dont care I like the way it sounds. I took a 400 mile trip a couple weeks ago with the windows down cruising I loved to hear the sound of my car under accel and deceleration. I like my whole setup, you should buy the whole kit it fits like a glove, or at least it did for me other people might protest to that.

i hated the my lm2. i switched to the hooker with aero chambered. i love it.

The great thing about the SLP LM is that you make make is sound however you want.

Swap in a different bullet muffler/resonator or chambered muffler.

I am also considering LM Exhaust. My nephew has the LM1. I t is very loud and raspy, but I do like the popping when letting off it. An LM2 scares me because I don't think I can bring myself to put glasspacks on my z28!

last summer i drove my Z with stock manifolds and y pipe with emtpy cats and it sounded great.. real badass sound, this summer i will have lt's ory and cam, so i am lokking to modd it
