SS exhaust on a V6 ?

SS exhaust on a V6 ? I had a crash.. shop is rebuilding my car http://christopher.inxtec.net anyway i scraped the original stainless tip on one side so they bought a whole new cat back SS exhaust. They said i could have my old exhaust. my bud has a '99 v6 camaro. would the pipes fit where the cats are at? or are the sizes off ?

Re: SS exhaust on a V6 ? I know there are some v6'ers running the WS6 exhaust, so the SS should work too. The hard part is getting the two systems to hook up, since they are different diameters. A guy I know couldnt find a reducer to fit the outer diameter, so he found like a 2.25 - 2.75 reducer that fit inside the pipes and just clamped the hell out of it.
Re: SS exhaust on a V6 ? Yeah you'll need a reducer but he should feel a gain of power... While some folks dog the 3.8 V6 it makes more power than the smog of the V8's from the 70's and 80's...
