Default TB Questions

I recently ordered the Thunder Racing cam package (224/224 .563/.563 112 LSA). Performance wise my car will also have:
FLP Long tubes, magnaflow catback, LS6 intake, MTI lid.
Before I get the work done and the car dyno tuned I am thinking about upgrading to an 85mm MAF and either a ported TB or the BBK 80mm TB.

Wondering if anyone could give me any recommendations on what MAF to go with and what to do with the TB… or should I leave it all alone?

Thanks

-Andrew

You won't need an 80mm TB on a stock cube LS1. I've heard plenty of people have trouble with the BBK TB. Definitely go with a ported TB. Check out Bauer's over there ----->. Stick with the stock MAF. Descreen it. If you have an M6, get a set of MAF ends and call it a day.

Thanks for the replies, looking at the thunder racing MAF ends.

For the Ported throttle body anyone have a preference between the Thunder Racing or the Bauer's Ported TB?--If I dont care about having it powder coated.

Thanks again

ditto. Thunder Racing is very good too however. It's your call really. I suggest running a search on Bauer's TB's. There are tons of pics and great responses. FWIW, I'm going with a Bauer TB in the very near future.
