Default Flowtech Headers??

ive already searched but still cannot find my answer. i can get a set of ceremic coated flowtech headers with a y-pipe for $315 shipped vs. a set of pacesetters for about 500+shipped...are there any bad things about flowtech because for the price i want to go in that direction.

Ive had 2 set of flowtechs. Good headers for the money, I would jump on that. They fit great and no rattles. Just make sure you get a good percys or flowtech aluminum flange gasket for the header-ypipe connection otherwise you will have exhaust leaks. I usually just pick them up at any local autozone or advance auto for about $22-$25 a pair and they come with new hardware. You are also going to want to recheck the 3 bolt flange after a couple heat cycles and retighten.

I'm with this guy, they fit fine and haven't given me any problems, and it was a nice SOTP feeling with them in. Get the aluminum gaskets as he suggests as well

Where did you look that sells them for $500?!? They're usually about $350 for the ceramic coated ones from almost any ls1tech sponsor. There's a couple of them that are having sales right now on Pacesetter headers, so they'd be even cheaper than that.

I've heard bad things about these headers that turned me away from them, but you all seem to be doing just fine.
