Default header trivia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

hey guys youve always helped me in the past so im gonna count on you again. Im upgrading to headers this week and ive seen all the polls about best bang for the buck and the most perferred... i decided to go with hooker. im looking at the comp and super comp headers. from what i understand the comp headers have 1 3/8 primary tubing and the super comps have a 1 7/8. sooo my question is what does a half inch difference mean performance wise? and will is it worth the extra $150?? thanks for your time..

If you plan on doing anything performance wise in the future, get the 1 7/8 ones, then you will never have to really worry about them again

if you're strapped for cash, look into the new XS stainless headers. they're around the same price as hooker headers and they'll last forever whereas the hookers will be rusty by next year.

1 3/4 is all you need unless you plan on going heavy FI or a stroker.

if you are looking into 1 3/8, don't even bother.

again, that would be a mistake. 1 3/4 is what you want, unless you want to go heavy FI or big cubes. then, you'd want 1 7/8. anything less than 1 3/4 will hurt you.

the sponsor's account is black2002ws6. he's running a group purchase on these headers and y-pipe for $550 with free shipping. that's a pretty damn good deal, and if you're in the military, you get another discount.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/sponsor-group-purchases/732803-polished-stainless-header-y-pipe.html

better register quickly because this will certainly fill up fast. this is the last group purchase opportunity for these headers and y-pipe.
