header trivia!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! hey guys youve always helped me in the past so im gonna count on you again. Im upgrading to headers this week and ive seen all the polls about best bang for the buck and the most perferred... i decided to go with hooker. im looking at the comp and super comp headers. from what i understand the comp headers have 1 3/8 primary tubing and the super comps have a 1 7/8. sooo my question is what does a half inch difference mean performance wise? and will is it worth the extra $150?? thanks for your time..

if you're strapped for cash, look into the new XS stainless headers. they're around the same price as hooker headers and they'll last forever whereas the hookers will be rusty by next year.
1 3/4 is all you need unless you plan on going heavy FI or a stroker.
if you are looking into 1 3/8, don't even bother.

correction yes the comps are 1 and 3/4 not 3/8 my fault but thanks for the info i plan on a cam fast intake and maybe heads but the engine wont be stroked in this car it still has to be a daily driver during the colder monthes in illinois. keep them comin guys thanks
