Default just installed intake. Need help asap

When I start the car slowly revs to ~3k. Then it lowers rpms slowly until it gets to 500 and idles rly rough and then starts to die. Any1 have any idea what the problem is? I rly dont think anything got under the intake when I put it in because I checked it a lot but i gues its possible something slipped in at the last minute. I rly have no clue. help appreciated I am hoping ot have it running normal by tomorrow!

the little one on the back and the big one are both plugged in. THat one line that goes to the head is kind of creased. would that rly make tha tbig of a difference?

Any vacuum line can make a big difference

Any unmetered air can make a big difference too, like if your tb was leaking around the seal or if you overtighten the intake and crack it

Definitely a vacuum leak. Did you swap over your o-ring gaskets from your other intake or install new ones? Also, did you get the new coolant crossover and plugs?

Temp sensor is located on the front of the driver's side head. Check to see if it's plugged in or broken.

I would check your Oil Pressure Sending Unit. It's the thing that is broke most often when doing an intake swap. Double check to make sure it isn't broke, it's all the way in the back behind the intake.

When I broke mine, the car would start, rev way up, and die.

There's a good chance the intake did not come with the gaskets around each port. That would prevent it from sealing.

Mine came with the gray gaskets (bought the LS6 intake used) and sealed perfectly. Are you sure the intake is secure and bolted down properly? I know I had to break off a plastic clamp that held some wiring together to get the LS6 to seat correctly. No probs

I would swear I never let the brake booster hose or anything else touch it when I did mine, but I broke mine too

now you have to go look for the socket for the oil pressure sensor, I had to go to 3 different auto parts stores. The stock one seems weaker than the one I bought though. My car did the same exact thing yours did. Tomorrow my car will be put back together to see if I got all the vacuum leaks down. My gaskets were jammed way too far into my intake manifold and didn't look like they were sealing.

You know, the reason I suggested that might be the issue is that I did the exact same thing. I bought my intake used and slapped it on without thinking about it. Boy did the car run rich! Burned the crap out of your eyes because it was dumping so much fuel.
