LS6 intake questions?
LS6 intake questions? what is an approximate horsepower difference between the LS1 and LS6 manifold. I don't plan on doing anything more then just bolt ons so i would like to know if its worth the $300.
what parts do i need to convert from an LS1 to an Ls6. can i use my fuel rails and so forth or do i need lots of parts from the Ls6?

This should probably be in the gen III section.
I'm also in the beginning stages of the ls1 - ls6 swap.
From what i have read you will gain anywhere from 5-15hp.
You will need the corvette coolant cross over pipe and plugs.
# 1- Coolant Pipe Part# 12602544
# 2- Rear Coolant Plugs Part# 12602540
You can swap the gaskets and your fuel rails/injectors from your ls1 intake to the ls6.
The next thing I'm tackling is, should i get an 80mm throttle body while I'm doing the swap. Or just get the stock one ported?
