Default 00 T/A LS1 Intake or Head Swap.

Does anyone know what the difference in heads, are from 2000 and 2002? Also ls6 intake swap. What is the correct part # for one. And what do you need for a complete swap. Want more power without a fortune spent. Thanks for some info.

i think you need to extend your project and save some more money.....exchange heads from stock 853s to 241s wont give you any type of real gain for the trouble....the ls1 to ls6 manifold is worth it, and you would just need the cross over pipes for coolant

ditto on the 853 to 241 swap, notta, only stock heads worth swapping for are 243's(LS6), little better flowing and a smaller combustion chamber for more compression, but i would save for some cnc'd LS6 heads or 5.3L heads, and ditto on the LS6 int mani, that is a good idea

Thanks guys. Did not know the heads would not make the difference. Am going ls6 intake but was wondering what the part # was. Was told ther is a ls6 and ls1 without egr. Do not want the wrong one. But thanks for the info.
