Default What intake wire is this?? HELP!

Well, I just noticed today that I had a stray wire towards the back of my intake. It looks like it's connected on the same line the coil pack wires are connected to. Anyone have any ideas or if this is relevant for anything?

knock sensor, yes it is needed, it connects to the two back circles on the valley cover, just remove the rubber feed it threw and call gm and get a new connector, then they both connnect together and to the rear most driver side blue connector, that was attached to the intake via a little metal clip on the bracket that held the air pump vaccum block.

um, well I look at the picture again, and your oil pressure sender has the connector on it, and no wires, so if you have knock sensor wires, I would look there next.

I say Oil Pressure Connector..that is a Tan Single Wire, and it's in the location for where it is. The Knock Sensors are a little further back in the Harness, and they are a different color also.
I built my Conversion Harness from a 1999 LS1, I know just about every wire in it, so if you have any other questions, fell free to let me know.

So where should I look next? Do I need to feed the wire through the back rubber valley cover circle and then connect it where?

Thanks again

no, if you have two wires one for each knock sensor(one wire each coming out of the rubber plugs then those are fine, It looks like it is for the oil pressure sender.

Where is the oil pressure sensor switch? Is it on the intake or on the block somewhere? It still might be hanging on somewhere.

the wire comes from your oil pressure sending unit. the 2 black wires with the eyes on the end of them are grounds and they go on the back of the driver side head.

Another vote for oil pressure sensor. You can see it in the one pic and you can see it doesnt have its wire anymore. DOH!!!
