Default LS6 Intake Install

Re 98 LS1 A4 - K&N induction and Borla cat back.

If I install an LS6 intake with the stock TB, what are my chances of getting an idle problem after? I do not have tuning capability to adjust the idle at this point.

no idle problem as long as you re connect all the vaccum hoses back, dont yank the throttle cable and plug everything back up

^^^ just as the gator fan mentioned. no problem at all. i swapped out my LS1 intake for an LS6 and haven't tuned it yet. no idle problems whatsoever. just take your time and connect everything back correctly. you'll enjoy the nice power gain up top.

So it's a straight forward swap? Plug and play basically.

Do you loose anything on the low end, any TQ lose?

I'm about to do this mod. Any tricks/problems to disconnecting the throttle cable? I see it's got a big ole torque spring there...
