Wtf????
My Post from last week. I did everything forum members listed (new O2s, new plug wires, spark plugs) got it all in today, started it up everything ran fine, let it run for about 10 mins shut it off for 5 started it up again, drove it for about 2 miles, then the SES light started blinking and car ran like ****. It holds back until 2000 RPM then its fine, giving it gas between 1200 and 2000 it stalls or slugs so to say. When idle the oil does dance a little bit, but nothing to be alarmed over, still reads well between operation range. I tried giving it a cycle driving it stop and go traffic for abour 10 miles. I have a TSP Heads/Cam Package (stage 2.5, 228/232 113LSA) sitting in the Garage, waiting on a little more funds) Any insight on if its a problem I should try and solve or just leave it to the shop thats putting all my **** in and see if its something tune out. Thanks Bros.
"It's a well known fact that all LS1-F Body cars have a "banging" issue, when a set of long tube headers are installed. This banging causes the knock sensor to activate, causing a timing retard, taking away much needed horsepower under hard acceleration"
