Default Headers installation help

I've gotten everyhing i need off, the secondary air pump, EGR wires and ****, The 2 old shorty heads (the 6th bolt passenger side was a bitch to get off but i did it) and now i'm installing the passenger side.. so i put the first bolt in with the gaskets in, flush as can be.. and i didn't tighten it... and i'm putting the 6th in passenger side and it just doesnt feel flush at all, i can't twist it in with my hand hardly... and when i do get it in, the angle of the bolt just doesn't look perpendicular to the side (if anyone can't draw a picture ill literally take pictures. But right now i'm hoping to god that the 6th bolt passenger side isn't stripped inside or some **** because i'd probably kill myself. I just can't get myself to ballsying up enough to force that bitch in there and actually strip it, so does ANYONE have any suggestions at all, i would be VERY grateful, Very, because it's been a long 3 ****** days feel me.
Thanks

have a friend or very capable pet hold the header up for you, while you thread the bolts in. What i did was start the two OUTSIDE bolts, so then the header could basically hang in position. Then I hand started the others, then tightened them all to where they were touching the flange (you can usually hear once they make contact, hard to describe the sound). I tightened from the inside of the header, outward towards the edges (as told by a few members on here). Take a pic. A stripped header bolt hole is not good, but not the end of the world by any means, depending on how bad...

I'll take some pictures tomorrow if i can, believe me, i've had my "pet" holding it up flush against the exhaust manifold and gaskets in between while fiddled with it for an hour trying to get the bolt in perpendicular like the other bolts that i'd put in. I'm just out of ideas.. i tried putting the bolt in at a lower angle that looked correct but it just keeps slipping up, maybe it is correct, i just can't afford to **** up the internal screw slot because if i do then i will pay the price

Gotcha... hit the bolt itself with some PB blaster or similar. Should help it at least go in a bit. so you're saying the other ones are in, just this one isn't go in looking the same? How far did you thread it in, or did you not once you saw it going in a little fubard?

The bolt itself give or take looks maybe an inch and a half, i'd have to say that i put it in half an inch and saw that there was a lot more resistance than normal and that it wasn't completely perpendicular to the exhaust manifold, so i had 6 bolts to **** around with, and i'm thinking that's the problem, that i need the exact bolt i took out from it, and i already have 3 inside the car passenger side, so I might just go ahead and have one of my chronies hold the pipes up while i try 3 more times, and if unsuccessful i might have to go to a shop.. anyone have any other ideas let me know, thanks last call a lot
