Best intake to do is a new lid/filter combo... tests have been done and you really can't do any better for a naturally aspirated car than the lid/filter combo... the stock stuff is just too restrictive...

I'd say the Texas Speed lid is the best all-around. Fit's the best and gains are irrelavant between the lids...

Then it's your choice on the filter, K&N, Holly, Fram, Amsoil etc...

Which ever lid is on sale would be the one I would get. They seem to all give the same gains. I believe in GM high tech along time ago they did a test and the MTI had the biggest gains(1-2hp more), SLP was 2nd. Any lid you get will be an improvement. I took my stock one and bent out all the fins and then sanded them smooth when I first got the car.

This is MTI's lid. I thought Texas Speed and Performance has one too but I was unable to locate on their site.
