Need Everyones Opinions!

I have a 99 ws6 automatic with just a magnaflow exhaust and slp lid. I want to get a louder sound than just the exhaust. I'm not looking for something that sounds like a race car, but want it too sound louder and mean. I was wondering will a pacesetter y pipe make it sound alot better and louder?? what about a high flow cat? NEED your opinions!!!!!! thanks guys

A y pipe with no cats will sound raspy not so well, A y pipe with cats will sound better but more quit. I have a y pipe with cats and GMMG exhaust and love the sound.

I had the Magnaflow,its just not loud enough running thru the cats though . My Super Turbo on the other hand sounds just right.

I am running a set of Pacesetter LTs and an offroad pipe and what appears to be a Cartek exhaust and it sounds mean. Not like your typical LS1. Gets a bit annoying on the highway though.
