O2 sensor simulator problems

Default O2 sensor simulator problems

My O2 sims are on the fritz, they keep kicking on my SES light. Here is the problem, i had them programmed out of the computer when i had it dynotuned. Anyone got any ideas how to eliminate this problem?

Not familiar with that code. Sure it's not 133? That would make more sense because P0133 is slow response for the O2 on the drivers side before the cat. If you had sims installed and you had the rears tuned out, the computer shouldn't be reporting anything on the rears.

Is it possible that the computer "relearned" that they were there??

Nah. You can have the codes scanned for free at Auto Zone and most parts stores. I'm guessing it's a front O2 and not the rear O2's. Are you still running the sims even after you had the rears tuned out? Without the actual code, it's just a guessing game.

yeah they are still on there, my gas mileage sucked *** to, i was getting 27 highway and a trip that normally wouldn't touch an eighth of a tank chewed through a quarter

Would definitly check your front O2 sensors. They are the ones responsible for the proper A/F ratio. If one of them is going bad it will kill fuel milage. Def run by Autozone and get the code checked. Good Luck

Did you put the vette 02's on to replace your front ones or did you just extend your stock ones. If you just extended your stock O2's those tend to malfunction in LT's.
