Default cam bearings

just wandering if anyone has replaced cam bearings before. my comp cam came apart and metal is everywhere. are they difficult to replace? i do have the motor out now.

I replied to a post about this in october, should be titled cam bearing tool, search is 50/50 right now, but it is out there, I am pretty sure the guy ending up doing it in the car, I can not see how, being the rear bearing would be tough, but he claims he did it, check it out.
