Default FTRA and AC performance...

I've been running the FTRA for quite awhile now, but today it was pretty hot and I don't feel like my AC is working as well as it should. I know F-Bodies haven't had the greatest AC, but my AC works better while at speed, but not well enough to get the car nice and cold inside. My car recently within the past 2 yrs. or so had a new accumulator dryer, compressor, purge and fill done as well.

I don't want to remove the FTRA to test it as being the source of my decrease in AC performance.

The FTRA is the only thing I could think of as causing this.

IMO don't think it's the FTRA - have had one my my car for years here in Florida and never a problem. Think something else is going on. Guess you could try removing the lower portion, that would be easy, then see what happens.

Well, I drove around later in the evening, AC was much cooler. I guess it was just hot.
