wrong gap on plugs.should i change them?

wrong gap on plugs.should i change them? hey guys i was in the middle of a plug swap and the parts store was out of regular tr55's so i got tr55gp's they look like an iridium plug but there platinum.
the guys told me that they are pre gaped so i dident want to mess them up by checking the gap so i put them in like that[i got a set of iridium's for my supercharged gp a wile back and i broke the tip off trying to check the gap so thats why i dident check them] and i think the gap on them is 0.44.
so should i get a set of regular tr55's and put those in?
i know the gap on the regular tr55's is suposed to be like0.55.
let me know guys if i should bother with it.
and before any one ask's the car runs good just dont know if im loosing any thing like power or gas mileage.
and i know i should of checked them
