Sh*t... Air pipe broke on Longtubes?
Once you hit about 600 hp at the crank, those things like to blow off, at least that's what the feeling on the subject is around here anyway.
Never buy headers with the fittings on, that's my advise. Had I known it was as simple as tuning out a couple codes, I never would have bought headers with the fittings on them.... plus ripping that junk off makes working on the car a ton easier.
You can tig a patch plate over the hole, that is what I had done on both headers on my car. And don't even bother contacting the manufacturer, I tried it with QTP and they basicially don't care, I'd definately suspect that the ebay headers company will probably treat you the same way. Hell, those are probably the same deal as qtp and kooks, all made at the same place anyway.
