Default stock gutted cats...

Considering gutting my stock cats just to see what it will sound like untill i get longtubes next month. I know someone has done this before so just wondering what to use to do it. i'd prefer not to try and take off those rusted-*** bolts up there to take the cats all the way off too. any dangers in doing this though?

gutting stock cats is stupid--it still will not sound like LT'S anyway--what gave you that idea..they should be reprimanded.wait--get headers and remove stupid cats as is.

Personally there is a gain to be had Hp wise, but why do that? Just fork out some money for some high flow cats and you can always use them later with headers.

save your efforts for the header install....waste of time. Also, some people will pay money for your stock cats.
