Re: Coat Stainless Steel headers or not? coating does help with heat and rust (some). the only benifit I see is it'll reduce heat. Stainless turns sweet colors over time due to heat. Blue, purple, black, gray. makes a cool pallet. IMO, I wouldn't worry about it. but that's up to u ya know.

If there 409 stainless like SLPs, get them coated
