Default GMMG to true duals

I have been rolling around the idea in my head of switching out my GMMG system to a true dual system. My question is this, what gains will I have? Negatives? The car does have a 1" SLP drop so I dont think scraping will be an issue. Also what can I look to get for a used GMMG system? I have been told that I can swap mine for a true dual and a set of headers? Seems a bit much but maybe someone with more experience in exhaust systems can help me out. Thanks for any help.

I have GMMG and would never switch to True Duals.

Anddddddddd......

But to answer your inquiry, a used GMMG can go for as high as $600. I've seen most between $500-$550 then add shipping on top of that. It holds it's value really well. For the cheapest Pacesetters at like $289 and a true dual system for ~ $300, there is your setup. If I had a Formula or Camaro I'd probably rock true duals, but my Trans Am with the back bumper cutouts, it's Y-pipe setup all the way. GMMG is the best IMO.

Well, my $1K bassani true dual system tucks in very well like Y pipe set up. There is a dyno sheet floating around in here, you'll have to search, its a comparison between borla catback and bassani true duals. I can't remember the actual numbers but I remember bassani > borla.

Texas Speed just had a GP on their 3" dual system. I've had it for 2 years and love it.
