Should i convert my FTRA to a SSRA?

I found this ancient thread about a scoop that would convert a Fast Toys Ram Air to a Super Sucker Ram Air style scoop:

Is it worth the 80 bucks? Or is my FTRA fine my itself?

There has never been any back to back testing that has showny any improvement of the SSRA scoop over the FTRA. With that being said, we would suggest you spend your money on another mod

I have another question for you:

How do you respond to all the FTRA posts so quickly? Do you do searches for FTRA or fast toys ram air daily?

Been there, done that, wasted my money. I've since gone back to the FTRA plate after nearly ripping off the SSRA scoop coming out of a parking garage. Plus, it stuck out like a sore thumb to anyone looking at the car head-on. Not my style.

definitely save your money. i'd take an FTRA anyday over an SSRA. the gains will be roughly the same, and like steve said above, the difference is the FTRA is invisible and will never get ripped off by a curb.
