Default Smoke while WOT
Hey guys, I need some help.

Tonight my buddy said there is a bit of smoke coming out of my 00 TA. Its dark enough to see. Any suggestions?

I have a TC and a lid. Rest is stock.

what year......01s have those really "cool" low tention rings that tend to cause oil consuption...

people are always telling me I'm smoking at WOT....just the nature of the beast.....needs a crank case pump....

I am only concerned because it didnt smoke before.

Its a '00 TA, with 57k miles on it.

No major mods done to it.

I have NEVER saw an Ls1 that did not smoke at WOT...Don't worry about it, just keep the oil level up.

If its a lot of black smoke its usually carbon, if its blue its oil, if its white its usually coolant...

Carbon is fine, that just means you need to put the foot to the floor more to clean it out...

Theres no way in hell I have carbon built up in that thing!!! I am WOT every time I go.

So I shouldnt be concerned about a little oil burning?

ill admit she gets babied sometimes, but its morning traffic and i aint awake myself
