Default 01 ls6 intake ???

will a 01 corvette ls6 intake have diff mounting since it has a wire tb...i would like to put put it on a 99 ta... would there be any problems???

it will bolt right in, just use your tb.

I will be using my tb but my qestion is the throttle cable bracket mounts...since the vette was ETC...is there a boss drilled there are can i make it work??

It'll bolt right up with no further modifications needed. Simply put the 3 bolts on that hold the TB on and you're all set. They type of throttle control doesn't matter.

I have seen some that don't have the brass inserts for the throttle cable bracket and some that do. The holes will be there, but not always the brass inserts. You just need to look and see if that one has them.

Thats correct, there are some that dont have the threaded inserts. I dont remember the part# on the manifold, but I have had two or three of them. You can buy some nuts at a hardware store and thread them onto a long bolt and lock them together, then either machine them to the correct diameter on a lathe, or carefully grind them to the right size on a bench grinder and then press them into the holes. It works fine, does'nt take much to hold the cable bracket on tight. Good luck!
