To Delete Egr... I have a 99 Z28 and am gathering parts for full exhaust and a cam install. It seems my biggets questions right now is to stick with my egr or to ditch it. What are the pros and cons of this? Is it something i should do or should i leave egr alone. Im buying a ls6 intake and the ones without egr provisions are cheaper. same thing with headers. If i do eliminate egr what do i need? Where do i get the block of plates? Is there a kit to get this done?

If you are getting the LS6 intake and headers without the EGR provisions, then you will not need the block off plates. If you wait on the intake manifold then I know Speed Inc. sells the block off plate for the intake. You will have to get it tuned if you delete the EGR. Otherwise you won't pass emissions. The pros are you save a little weight and you clean up the engine bay a little.
P.S. If you get headers without the emissions provisions you will need to delete the AIR as well.
