Default Pacesetter or Hooker?

I was looking into getting some pacesetter or hooker header....ive done alot of searching and really could find a comparison for both of them so i was wondering which had less issues with the install also ive ordered tsp tds and know that the pacesetters hook up right to them....what about hookers does anyone know?

Not sure about Hooker and TSP duals going together. I have Pacesetter and install was not bad at all. They fit great and will not kill your wallet. I don't have any experience with hooker but which ever you choose, make sure you get them coated NOT painted.

I have Pacesetters LTs on my trans am, correct me if I am wrong, but aren't Pacesetters the popular choice? I really can't give any advice since these headers were on the car already when I bought it.

I got pacesetters on mine and the install was pretty straight forward on every set I've ever done (5 installs so far). But I don't have any experience with the hookers, so I can't condemn them or give them props. Good luck with your choice though.

Is there any difference in flow between the pacesetters or hooker?

just installed Hooker LTs on Friday...went in like a dream, I thought I was doing it wrong since I didn't have to remove all this stuff that people talk about! The bolts and gaskets that come with them are junk, but the headers themselves look and fit great. They even came with 02 sensor extensions. If you look around you can find them cheap! I got mine from a non-sponsor for $360 with the ceramic coating!

Go with the new designed hookers. I have them, not installed yet. They look better then the old style imo. My buddy put them on today and said they fit excellent and WITHOUT any mods. Y fits great too.

The design of the Hooker, Jet-Hot and Pacesetters are all the same. I have had my Hooker LTs (coated by Jet-Hot) since 2002 on my car, yes 5 years! Talk about durability! They fit in perfectly. I have also installed the Jet-Hots (which used the Hooker design, but relocated the O2 bung to the inside) and the Pacesetters (which are based off of the Jet-Hot revised Hooker design), as well as Kooks, SLPs and other headers. I would highly recommend the Hooker headers, I do have Pacesetters on my truck (since Hooker didn't offer any at the time) and they are fine as well.
