Default question about EGR, AIR, and TB bypass

i was wondering if it is at all possible to do the AIR and EGR deletes, as well as the TB bypass, without having auto tap. the only thing i have is a GM code deleter. is it possible to do with only tools and nothing electronic but that? This is on a 99 SS. Thanks

I removed mine a several months ago without having the codes deleted. I'm pretty used to seeing an SES light now

The first page on this link has some good info for removing egr/air as well as some links to write-ups on how to remove them. Towards the bottom somewhere it shows you what to grind off to make the TB open 90 degrees also. It doesn't really make a difference whether you remove the codes or not...all it is going to do is not set off the SES light.

it didnt say anything about where to grind the bump down at. is there anything else that shows where to grind it down to before i throw a code for it being over 90 degrees?

Sorry about that, it was on a different sticky. Here's a link to it...it mainly talks about porting/polishing but towards the bottom it tells how to do the bump stop mod.
