Default oil filler tube removal

I just ordered the speedinc billet breather that replaces the oil filler tube and cap...but i can't get the tube out of the valve cover...I'm sure it will come out but was afraid to apply anymore pressure since it didn't want to budge...could somebody tell me how to remove this thing the right way...thanks....

heres a link...its about half way down the page....

Great! Now you can take off the valve cover and remove the plastic retainer tab that you just broke off. Removing the filler neck requires valve cover removal.
