dual air intake on a C5 hey fellas this is probably a newbie question but i used to own a 99 SS for 3 years....hyroplained ant totaled it a month ago 
...oh well life goes on...anyway im lookin at a Black FRC and have heard abot potential water issues when using this system b/c its just all open down there...any input on this subject would be appreciated...im gonna have to learn this vehicle jsut like i learned my camaro (sigh)......

dont drivein the rain or bevery carefull . my buddy with an 04 z06 went out after it rained and was coming out of a gas station when he hit a small puddle the wrong way and hydrolocked the engine .
i mean dude still runs a similar intake it is just he dont ride in the rain as much.
funny thing is he called up his insurance told them what happened and they said they would pay for fixing the engine being hydrolocked .
anyway he asked them if he could choose who gets to rebuild the engine and they were cool with him sending it to mti for the rebuild .
pretty cool huh ?
