What about a Tri-Y Header for an LS1?
What about a Tri-Y Header for an LS1? Any benifits over say QTP w/ Merge Collector?
From what I have read a Tri-Y scavanges, and is a "ideal" header design
Any thoughts?

Down side is nobody makes them commercially, they would cost more than 4 into 1's, so the market would be small unless we knew that big time racers used them. They might, but they don't tell.
There is a company that will fab them on your vehicle for about 2 large ($2000).
There was an interesting discussion on this subject on one of the "other" boards" a month or so ago. Try a search on "tri-y" and my user name.
Keep thinking out of the box!
Re: What about a Tri-Y Header for an LS1? i was told they dont make much more peak power... but that they flatten out ur HP and TQ curve. so u have a really flat HP/TQ graph

Re: What about a Tri-Y Header for an LS1? Belanger makes some for the C5 and they're definately not "all-that". I wouldnt spend a penny extra for Tri-Y.
I'd rather have John B make a set of headers for me.
