QTP Y pipe?

QTP Y pipe? What's the problem with the QTP y pipe? I've read numerous posts about different opinions on these, but haven't seen where the problem is discussed. Is there another one made in stainless with a flowmaster merge?

The only problem I've ever had with mine is that it catches on goddamn everything because it hangs so low on the driver's side.
Oh, and the cats were crap and blew apart (probably after catching on everything).
So, if I had to do it all again... I would have probably got a 2.5 inch true dual setup or something. If I ever replace my QTP Y-pipe I'm probably going with the Bassani X duals.
