I little help? I just rebuilt the engine in my friends 98' Camaro. It has a about the biggest cam you can run in a DD.
Problem it's way down on power. Power surges at 4500rpm but not much of a surge. It hasn't been tuned so it still have stock rev limiter. Sometime rev limiter comes on at 6000rpm then other time 6500rpm. Also I've had the tach 6500rpm then it jumps past 7000rpm but the engine never went that hi. Plus the alternator is charging right above the red. I put a batt charger on it but it showed the same voltage.
Any help would be appreciated.
