When do fans kick on?
It will go past the 210 mark just a little bit if I get stuck in traffic or sit still, but once I get moving good again it will drop back down to either right on 210 or a hair below it.
Last night I changed my oil and decided to check my fans. The passenger side fan kicked on as soon as the car started (and I believe it is hooked to A/C?) but the driver side one never came on and I let it idle until it was right on top of the 210 mark.
So when exactly are the two fans suppose to kick on? I would rather know before I decide to jumper the driver fan to make sure it still works.
My entire cooling system is stock including the thermostat.
I am less interested in the exact temp, the stock gauge is fine for me, I am more interested in whether my driver side fan is dead.
Is there a set condition(s) that must be met for both fans to run?

STOCK GUAGES are VERY inaccurate....ALSO--like I said, both fans should come on when you first put on your A/C. fan 1 226 on / 219 off
fan 2 234 on / 227 off
When you shut off the engine (key off) if the engine temp is above 235 the fans will run for 150 seconds after the car shut off to help cool it down.
