advantages of using 02 sims over nothing?

advantages of using 02 sims over nothing? i just replaced the flowtech headers and ory on my 01 ss with xs longtubes and ory. i dont have any rear o2 sims, just the bolts to close the bungs in the y pipe. what advantages will i see if i use 02 sims in the rear 02 sensor connectors. can i just get new o2 sensors for the rear and plug them up like normal or will the fact that i have no cats effect them? sorry about having so many questions in one post.

U need them to tell the computer that the cats are working...tune 'em out, or sims, or....look at a SES Light all the time---I have sims....even now, that I put cats on for Emissions...
