i just put on new heads bc the old heads got the threads stripped somehow (we think it might be bc the bolts we too short maybe). Autozone doesnt carry a 'header bolt set'...they just have their little stand with all kinds of bolts, buts, washers, etc to choose from. and they have the right thread bolt, im just wondering how long stock bolts are the part number is 12560206 on GM Parts direct but it doesnt give specifics...

so what are the dimensions of the stock bolts? im not putting the shorter bolts that came with the Hooker headers back in just to be safe.

come on....i know the ones that come with hooker headers are 1'' long, but the stockers are longer...but how much longer
