Meziere Install Problem? Opinion Needed
Meziere Install Problem? Opinion Needed A few weeks ago I installed a new Meziere EWP in my 2002 SS. Followed LS1 How To method and used the relay. If I let the car sit for a few days the battery is drained. Let it sit for a week to ten days, need a charge to start. I also have a SLP pulley and the battery is original, but didn't have any problems until after the EWP.
Any ideas?

Do you have a multimeter? You might need to do some investigating to make sure it is your problem...for starters, leave it sitting for a few days with the fuse removed for the water pump. If it is still draining, you'll need to look elsewhere. Otherwise, it is a problem with your wiring.
I have seen someone else do this before. Same symptoms also. We just terminated into the box onto the ignition. never drained again. Lots of car audio noobz have this problem with the lead on wire lol!
