Default What gage wire goes to the O2 sensor, starter, etc

I would like to reroute the wiring harness that contains wires for the passenger side O2 sensor, starter, crank case sensor, etc. I believe there are ten wires in all. I plan to splice a couple feet of wire into each existing wire so I can route them away from my headers. Does anyone know what gage the wires are in the harness?

Thanks,

Jim

O.K. if no one knows what gage the wires are, heres another question. Would there be any adverse affects to using wire that's close to the same gage but not exactly the same gage? For example, lets say I tried to visually match the existing wire thickness with the thickness of the wire I'm using to splice and in actuality the gages were different. (if that makes sense)

Any comments would be appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Jim
