Like 12, but with a tune you can put down as much as 210 extra hp on the top end.

you dont ahve to have a tune, but tuning helps with any new mod you add. people normally wait tll they get a lot of mods under their belt though before they get a tune so they dont spend as much and get a bigger gain all at once.

Also since I know it will be asked: NO you DO NOT need the LS6 coolant lines, you can use the stock ls1 lines and heres the picture of what ribs needs to be removed.

Around 12rwhp... give or take 5hp. and +1 on just using the original LS1 coolant lines. Consider it a mod you pretty much have to do if you're going to be modding more in the future. I found it a lot easier to not mess with the coolant lines. I used a chisel to knock off the ribs on the bottom.

I ground off the ribs on mine with a dremel. It still sat on the coolant lines just a tad and was pissin me off so i just bolted it down. Seems to be doing fine

AVe gain is ~10rwhp. Coolant lines are cheap enough $30.

it can be argued though, that the ls6 lines dont cool the rear pistons as well as the stocker ls1 lines

If i were you I would get LT's and full exhaust first, and then get the intake. LT's will open your car up alot more than then intake. Plus, you will get better gains with an ls6 intake if LT's are already on the car.
