What should be my next mod: headers, intake, gears, ??? Currently I have the following setup: 98 A4 - 2.73 gears, 3400 stall, tranny cooler, Nittos DRs, lid, 125 shot on HSW wet kit, and stock exhaust w/ cutout.
I am trying to decide on my next mod. I was thinking about gears but after reading the sticky in that forum it looks like I can only expect to gain .1 and 1 mph in the 1/4 since I already have a high stall converter.
I am wondering what I can expect to gain in the 1/4 with LTs and a catback or true duals. Currently I have the stock exhaust except for a cutout under the passenger side after the cat.
I am guessing that the nitrous will produce more HP with better flowing exhaust since it seems like there is going to be much more exhaust to push out. At least that's what I would think. Or would I be better off with an aftermarket intake? I have also considered a cam, but I am guessing my exhaust will definitely need to be upgraded with the nitrous and a cam. Not to mention my fuel pump.

I already had a 3600 stall and gained only 2 mph and .1 sec going from 2.73's to 3.73's but seat of the pants feeling the 3.73's felt more like .5 sec gain. I'd do Lt headers as a next step personally especially since you are spraying, then LS6 intake or Fast. Don't forget about suspension mods to get the car to hook. all the power in the world won't do anything if you can't get it to the ground.

Adjustable Torque Arm and Lower Control Arms. Gets rid of that wheel hop. Next go round try a set of MT Drag Radials. Get hooked up and you can get gone! If your still running stock shocks they suck! Enough said.
