Is it worth it?
Input would be appreciated
All I can think of is perhaps the smaller area of the stock box equals greater velocity when used with the SSRA. But initially, before the ram air effect kicks in, the WS6 box flows better. Just a theory.
While I love quick 60 foot times, I care more about ET. For me it was not worth it and I sold it and kept my stock lower box.
listen to pewter as he has a point on the 60 foot times as they usually mean a better overall quarter mile time . only thing is standing still off the line air is not exactly coming at you as much as when actually moving .
if you are just wanting to get more air in the lower part , i have seen washers being placed underneath the lower box on birds to try and gulp in more air . also folks cut out the part where the latch is . check out patrick gs cutout on his ride . you can do this even on a non ram air hood and would see a gain .
