I took my throttle body off last night, put epoxy in the gaping hole in the top of it(used straws to keep the passages for the cruise control and the line that goes off the back...I can't think what it is off hand). I did not dremel the TB. I left ring of material close to the blade on the TB because I didn't have enough time to do the whole thing. Anyway, after contouring the epoxy to the shape of the housing, I put it on the car and started it up- ran fine except for a little low idle (relearning) and drove it home that night about a mile and a half. Today I took it out and got a carwash, after starting it at the carwash I found the Service Engine Soon light staring me right in the eye.

I drove around about thirty miles tonight with it on and no problems. What could this be. I don't like the fact that it is always on because if something does really go wrong with the car, I would like to know.

Thanks, -Mike
