MAC MID owners INSIDE!! I've checked LS1sounds.com for a clip of Mac Mids with SLP High Flow cats coming out to a Hooker Aerochamber, with no such luck.
I already have the MACs on there, with the Aerochamber muffler, but looking for a good set of cats to make the exhaust nice and throaty.
Please post or send me a sound clip of your LS1 with the following things:
1) MAC Mids
2) SLP High-Flow cats (or whatever cats you have)
3) Hooker Aerochamber muffler
I'd like an in car, out of car, etc... Also, tell me how much rasp there is at around 2000-3000RPM (most backpressure and most rasp)

there will be no rasp at all. it will be very quiet maybe a tad louder than stock. if you want it deep and throaty you will have to get rid of the cats...and there will still be no rasp and it will still be pretty quiet untill wot
What cam do you have?
I have MAC mids with cats and a Borla cat back. I also have a QTP cutout in the right hand tail pipe. it so quiet I usually run with the cutout 1/4 open all the time. Like that is't very deep and melow with no rasp.

I'd personally look into the carsound/magnaflow cats. There some of the best flowing cats. I run some modded macs(no ball flange and some porting work on the primaries) with 2.5 carsound/magnaflow cats 2.5 y pipe into the hooker catback. There is no rasp what so ever. Even threw my cutout I get no rasp except when the engine is cold I get alittle every time I shift.

Heres mine on a 50shot and the first run was on motor but something was up also i had to let out cuz that was days before the tranny took a crap you can hear it on the second run where it just cut off at high rpm and than i got back in it.. now im spraying a 125shot through a 3in td set up with rece style jet hot lts making 550rwhp through a 3800 stall and danas60... that vid was back on the 4.10rear gear 10bolt with mac mids 2.5 tds dumped dynomax bullits 18in long 2.5in 2.5 out right before the axle also this was a yank 3500 stall also cobra made allmost 500rwhp tuned pullied bla bla...
