looking closer at the pics... is the intake rubbing your hood? Looks like there might be a little scuff mark on the pipe behind the cones...? Could just be the picture...

No rubbing on the hood just a small mark I couldn't get off from a rubber mallet when I tried to tap it into place on the MAF during the install. It didn't work and after I did it I realized that it was pretty stupid idea since I could have damaged my MAF, but luckily I didn't.

Don't stress yourself too much.. It's pretty much a risk either way. Volant or clear lid, you'll here equal stories of people having issues. Whether it's clearance, or malfunction, you'll hear it regardless. Just this morning i installed my clear lid. I had 2 lids (they shipped me an extra one by mistake i guess) One fit great, the other kept forcing my left lid-tab to pop up... and didn't give that good of a seal as the other did... My point is, either way you're prone to issues. Ultimately though, you won't regret it. I'd go with the clear lid if $$ is more of an issue. The volants look BADASS though... good luck.

I'll post pics of mine by Sunday. Looks just like James' in the CETA.

I actually thought of buying a Fernco or other smooth bellow and cutting it to fit better than how the stock accordion bellow is completely compressed on the top to accommodate the angle. The stocker does it's job though.

Andros, what bellow is that? That is what I'm going to do, cut one to fit.
