The GMMG with stock manifolds is awesome. That was my setup for years. It's very tame at low RPM's and nice and loud at WOT. There's also no resonance while cruising. You won't gain much by putting a cutout before a GMMG. LT's are a different story.
Wow sweetbone, really nice vids. The digital quality isn't even all that bad, audio is amazing... Although i like the sounds of your ride, this'll be my Daily drive, and i don't want it to sound that ferocious (plus i don't think i'm allowed LT's in NY; emission). Good luck on the whole restoration....

Yea, some say their isn't any rasp, some say they can hear it. But altogether it's in regards to high rpms, not my worries at all. When you say gain, do you mean soundwise or hp?

But i love the way my GMMG sounds on stock manifolds and there is no way i would put a cut out in it unless you just like it loud with no tone. 
I wouldn't even consider a cutout. Listen to a GMMG in Person, it'll completely change your mind, and you're not making enough power to make enough of a difference between the GMMG and an open cutout. I'd say GMMG, it's just perfect. and it's shiny.
